Free InDesign Template for a Photo Thank You/Greeting Card

A couple weeks ago, I wrote up a quick tutorial on designing a truly custom photo greeting card that can be printed at Costco. I created a jpeg image with the proper dimensions (5.5″ x 7″) and then used the full image template that Costco has for photo greeting cards.

It occurred to me that the template might be useful to other people. So, here’s an Adobe InDesign file for a 6 image, 5.5″ x 7″ photo greeting card.

You’re going to need Adobe InDesign to edit the file. Otherwise, it should be pretty straightforward… drop six images in, add some text, and you’re good to go! I did add a “Text Wrap” setting to the top right picture and the bottom right picture. This way, the text you put into the text boxes won’t run into the images.
