Photo by: mark452. This picture of a sunset in Australia came out of the recent interesting pictures on Flickr. I don’t know why I’m drawn to all these sunset pictures when I browse through the stream… but a nice sunset just grabs your attention. This one is awesome. The colors…

Photo by: joviano.alves. Found this picture in the Recent Interesting section of Flickr. Amazing sunset. I blogged about a a few weeks back, but this one tops it for sure. I love the centeredness of the tree, really helps the composition. And the saturation in the sky, along with the…

Photo by: daplums. Wow. The colors and the saturation in this sunset is just eye-catching. It’s definitely what caught my eye. I was looking through the recent uploads, and within one or two pages of pictures this screamed out to me, “Cool.” Sunsets are a tough thing to photograph on…

About Digital Photography How To

Digital Photography How To is intended to be a guide to people learning how to use their digital SLR cameras. Three years ago, I had never picked up a camera; now, I produce a yearbook every year and I moonlight as a professional photographer.

I write this website to share what I've learned in that time. The topics will range from truly beginners topics, to tutorials for post processing, to resources for yearbook and graphic design, to thoughts on transitioning from a hobbyist to a professional. Keep up to date by subscribing to the RSS feed.
